Snow Skin Co: Safety Notice and Acknowledgement of Risk

Please read this notice in full before using your plasma pen from Snow Skin Co. By purchasing or using the device, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted it.

1. About Plasma Fibroblast Treatment

A plasma pen creates a small electrical arc between the tip of the device and the skin. This arc causes controlled micro-injuries to the skin's surface. These are intended to trigger the skin's natural healing response. The treated area will be wounded. Scabbing, swelling and redness are expected parts of the process, and healing takes time. Results vary between individuals and are not guaranteed.

Because the treatment deliberately injures the skin, it carries real risks. Please take them seriously.

2. Fitzpatrick skin types: who a Snow Skin Co device is suitable for

The Fitzpatrick scale classifies skin by how it reacts to sun exposure. Skin type is one of the most important factors in plasma pen safety, because darker skin is more prone to pigment changes and scarring after thermal injury.

Snow Skin Co devices must only be used on Fitzpatrick skin types I to III. Do not use it on skin types IV, V or VI. In these skin types there is a significantly higher risk of permanent pigment changes (darkening or lightening) and scarring.

If you are unsure of your skin type, or fall between two types, do not use the device until you have had your skin type assessed by a qualified healthcare professional. Treat uncertainty as a reason not to proceed. Note that a tan, whether from the sun or from a sunbed or self-tanner, can temporarily change how your skin behaves. Do not use the device on tanned skin.
