A full explanation of what a plasma pen is & how it works with the science behind plasma fibroblast.

So... What is a Plasma Pen?

A plasma pen is a small handheld device that creates small micro-injuries to the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate collagen and elastin production allowing the skin to heal back to its younger form of skin

[see below image].

A plasma pen has the capability to make deliver transformational anti-aging results for things such as but not limited to:

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines (eleven lines)
  • Crow’s feet
  • Upper & lower eyelid lines
  • Nasolabial folds (marionette lines)
  • Jowl
  • Upper & lower lip flip

and the removal of skin lesions such as but not limited to:

  • Skin tags
  • Sebaceous hyperplasia
  • Cherry angioma
  • Milia
  • Warts

How it works

Plasma pen works by generating a small electrical discharge creating a plasma arc between the tip of the plasma pen and the skin. This energy produces a controlled thermal point on the skin’s surface, these are what we call carbon burns

[see below image].

The healing process of the carbon burns

Many people ask how long it would take for the carbon burns to fall off the face so we’ve created a diagram showing how long it usually takes for the carbon burns to fall off the face and the healing process from the day of the treatment [Day 1 to Week 8], when you'd see final results.

Carbon burns anywhere under the face [for example: the neck, stomach, or legs] sometimes take significantly longer to fall off due to the skin being thicker than facial skin. When using a plasma pen on the stomach it could take upwards to 10-21 days for the carbon burns to completely fall off the skin. Below is a video showing the process of the carbon burns falling off from using the Snow Fibroblast Plasma Pen [see below video].

Why It's So Effective

Plasma pen is effective because it’s an all-in-one treatment stimulating collagen and elastin production while tackling whatever skin imperfection you’re looking to get rid of. So while you get rid of skin tags, sebaceous hyperplasia, cherry angioma, milia, or tighten your skin, you’d kill 2 birds with 1 stone by also getting firmer & better textured skin at the same time because of that stimulation of collagen & elastin production.

According to Master Esthetician, Oula Jniedi, “Plasma Fibroblast is preferred over other treatments because it’s a non-surgical approach. Not everybody is ready to go under the knife and have that first step into surgery or have injectables in their skin.”

How long do plasma pen results last?

According to Master Esthetician, Oula Jniedi, “Plasma fibroblast is a one-off treatment that actually is there to stay. So once the area is treated the results are forever there but don’t forget the aging process continues, so fine lines, wrinkles, collagen reduction is going to continue to occur.”

You can perform a plasma fibroblast treatment once every 6 months or once every 2 years. Aging is a non-stop process but the more treatments you do, the slower the process of aging is seen. You can perform plasma fibroblast treatments by doing it at-home keeping in mind you’ve educated & informed yourself by doing proper research, and learning from videos

Frequently asked questions

Does a plasma pen hurt?

Most plasma pens will slightly hurt because they are making micro-injuries to the skin. One solution to ease the pain would be using lidocaine numbing cream. The lidocaine would block the nerve signals from experiencing pain. Now Numb is a trusted & affordable brand. You can check out their numbing cream.

Who should not use a plasma pen?

Fitzpatrick scales 4-6 should NOT be using a plasma pen, performing the plasma fibroblast treatment due to the significant risks of hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation.
